Q. of the months
(click here to post your message and to see other recent entries) WHAT SHOULD MAGGIE & MICHAEL'S THERAPIST BE NAMED?
Thanks to my readers advice and urging, Maggie and Michael are in therapy in the next book, THE DEVIL'S INTERVAL. Maggie’s not sure what she thinks of this therapist, and so she refers to her as Dr. Mephisto. Give the therapist a name (one that could reasonably morph into Mephisto) and you’ll get thanked in the acknowledgements of the next book AND win a t-shirt. Click on EMAIL ME (above right) to submit your entry. Please leave your name and the way you'd like us to contact you. Plus, any or all comments are welcome.

WHAT SHOULD WE NAME MAGGIE AND MICHAEL'S THERAPIST?
Following is a list of the contenders:
Comments
My next entry is "Rita Fezmehto." Michael says to Maggie, "If you rearrange her syllables, she's Mephisto." Maggie responds, "She needs to have her syllables rearranged, and I'm just the woman to do it!"
Considering your choice of Dr. Mephisto
How about another name with dichotomy such as
Dr. Isabella Oposto? isabella means devoted to god and opposto, well it means the opposite...
Dr. Merlina Pfister is my suggestion - could be easily shortened to Mephisto based on sound. Merlina suggests she had an ancestor who was a wizard (Merlin) and perhaps the doctor is always "spouting off" - Pfister faucets and hardware.
How is Mercedes Diavolo for a name for Mephisto? Then she obviously IS the devil, helping out with the Mephisto nickname, but her parents gave her Mercedes ("mercies") for a first name, to balance out the devil in her last name. Which of course makes everyone crazy, not knowing whether she's a saint or the devil. Totally fitting for a shrink, since they make you feel like the devil long before you realize their brand of tough therapy was saintlike. You're angry for a while before you're grateful, so a name with dichotomy.
